Acciona’s green hydrogen plant in Arteixo (A Coruña) declared a strategic project
The Xunta de Galicia has declared the green hydrogen production plant promoted by Acciona and Plugpower in Arteixo (A Coruña) as a regional strategic project. The new category acquired will speed up the processing and development of the business initiative, as it is considered of great relevance by the Government of Alfonso Rueda.
The measure was authorised this Monday by the Consello de la Xunta , which had already declared this project as a priority business initiative in December, according to Europa Press. The plant will involve an investment of 49.3 million and will be located in the Morás industrial estate.
The plant is being developed by Accionplub SL, a joint venture between Acciona and Plugpower . Six plots of land will be used to install a total of four 5MW electrolyser modules.
