Bouygues Energies & Services will create a green hydrogen hub in the metropolis of Orléans, 800 kg/day.
[Le Moniteur] The H2HUB Loiret project around Orléans Métropole consists of producing renewable hydrogen, up to 800 kg/day in the long term, near an FM Logistic site. This green hydrogen will be distributed on different FM Logistic sites around the Metropolis of Orléans via private and public stations deployed by Bouygues Energies & Services.Bouygues Energies & Services and FM Logistic have signed an exclusive partnership to develop a territorial renewable hydrogen ecosystem around the Metropolis of Orléans in order to contribute to the decarbonization of the logistics sector in France.
Called H2HUB Loiret, this project that will be deployed around Orléans Métropole consists of producing renewable hydrogen, up to 800 kg /day in the long term,near an FM Logistic site.
This green hydrogen will be distributed on different FM Logistic sites via private and public stations deployed by Bouygues Energies & Services.
These stations will supply:
- mobility uses internal to FM Logistic: forklifts, heavy transport vehicles between warehouses;
- private and public mobility uses: taxis, buses, heavy goods vehicles, handling equipment, etc.;
- industrial processes.
An electrolyser and at least 3 distribution stations
Specifically, the agreement specifies that Bouygues Energies & Services supports FM Logistic in:
- the development of an ecosystem of decarbonised hydrogen consumers ;
- investment related to hydrogen production and distribution assets(one electrolyser and at least 3 distribution stations) ;
- the submission of a file to ADEME for the call forprojects “Territorial hydrogen ecosystems” in September 2021 ;
- the design, operation and maintenance of the installations for 10 years with performance guarantee.
