BPCL Board Approves Partnerships with Sembcorp Green Hydrogen and GPS Renewables
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd’s (BPCL) board approved the establishment of joint ventures with Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India (SGHIPL) and GPS Renewables.
The joint venture with SGHIPL will focus on developing and operating renewable energy projects throughout India, including the production and sale of green hydrogen and its derivatives.
BPCL and SGHIPL will each hold a fifty percent stake in the proposed joint venture company.
As reported by projectstoday.com, additionally, BPCL’s board approved a partnership with GPS Renewables to establish compressed biogas (CBG) plants across the country.
