Chongqing Yuanli shale gas conversion to hydrogen plant built by SWCEHM successfully started up – China.
The 4000Nm3/h shale gas to hydrogen plant of Chongqing Yuanli Technology Co., Ltd, designed by SWCHEM and supplied with key equipment (conversion furnace and conversion steam generator), was fed and started successfully.
The shale gas to hydrogen plant is a supporting plant of Chongqing Yuanli 30,000 tons/year fatty alcohol plant, which is designed by SWCHEM, and the core process equipment, shale gas reformer, is EPC, and the catalyst, adsorbent and special program control valve are supplied.

The plant adopts SWCHEM’s shale gas steam reforming hydrogen production technology with independent intellectual property rights, and the two-stage air preheating process can effectively reduce shale gas consumption; the reforming catalysts used in the plant are developed by SWCHEM , with a domestic market share of over 85%.
