Sydney, 2 September 2024 — NoviqTech Limited (“NoviqTech”) is excited to announce that Clean Hydrogen Technologies (CHT) has signed an agreement to implement NoviqTech’s capabilities for tracking the Guarantee of Origin of Turquoise Hydrogen.

Through this partnership, CHT will leverage NoviqTech’s innovative tracking system to provide transparent and verifiable certificates for the turquoise hydrogen produced at its facilities. This collaboration is a significant advancement in promoting a sustainable hydrogen economy.

The implementation will involve:

• The tokenisation of the Guarantee of Origin for each batch of turquoise hydrogen produced, ensuring traceability and accountability
• Integration of real-time monitoring systems to capture data on the hydrogen production process
• Creation of verifiable certificates that demonstrate the sustainability and source of the hydrogen, supporting global clean energy goals

CHT will begin the modelling phase this year, with plans to issue tokens once they reach production. This step is crucial for ensuring that the hydrogen produced meets the sustainability standards outlined in the agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, CHT will utilise a subscription model for the tracking services, with fees applied per token produced once operational*. The subscription will be month-to-month, allowing flexibility for both parties.

As of this date, NoviqTech is not able to calculate the expected revenue from tokenisation as recycling volumetrics are still to be finalised. NoviqTech will update the market once recycling volumetrics are confirmed
