Clean Logistics concludes supply contract for hydrogen trucks with DEVK subsidiary hylane.

Clean Logistics SE (ISIN DE000A1YDAZ7) has signed a supply contract for two HyBatt trucks with the DEVK subsidiary hylane.

The two semitrailer tractors (“40-tonne”) converted from conventional diesel drive to emission-free hydrogen drive from a well-known German manufacturer are to be handed over to the customer in 2022.

hylane focuses on environmental protection in its exclusively climate-friendly vehicle rental. The company offers hydrogen trucks with different bodies and installations.

Through a usage-based rent, in the so-called “pay-per-use model”, customers only pay for the kilometers actually driven. All services, except driver and fuel, are included in the rental.

Dirk Graszt, CEO and founder of Clean Logistics, commenting on the conclusion of the contract with hylane, said:

We are very pleased to be working with hylane.

“On the one hand, hydrogen-powered semitrailer tractors are now rapidly coming onto the road. On the other hand, the business model of hylane freight forwarders and commercial users gives them the opportunity to simply and easily test this new generation of future-oriented vehicles in real operation without great risk.”

“We are convinced that this is an important step for the acceptance of hydrogen-powered vehicles and will continue to drive the upcoming decarbonization of the transport sector.”
