Enapter AG expands its software capacity in the USA, the Enapter Energy Management System Toolkit (EMS Toolkit).
Enapter (WKN A255G0), the fast-growing electrolysis specialist for modular and decentralized hydrogen systems offers a comprehensive software solution, the Enapter Energy Management System Toolkit (EMS Toolkit), that supports the monitoring and control of mixed systems based on renewable energies. Enapter’s new development center will open on March 1st near Seattle.
One of the first main goals for Enapter’s development center in the USA will be the development of OPC UA interfaces and UA NodeSets to simplify the integration of clusters of Enapter Electrolysers and AEM Multicores in heterogeneous industrial environments and HMI interfaces.
The Open Protocol Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA) is a platform independent, service-oriented architecture that specifies information exchange for the industrial communications widely adopted in many industries.
The latest release of the Enapter Gateway energy site controller already opens up the possibility of integrating third-party devices with Enapter’s EMS Toolkit via the OPC UA protocol.
This approach enables the development of open-source Enapter blueprints for a variety of industrial assets. All blueprints will be available in a public repository at https://github.com/Enapter/marketplace.
Sebastian-Justus Schmidt, CEO of Enapter AG, said:
We are happy to open our development center with experts from the OPC UA field.
“At the same time, we are glad to be able to offer local software integration support to our growing US customer base”.
