Framo GmbH and FES GmbH plan hydrogen truck production in Germany. Shaping the future hand in hand: With a far-reaching collaboration, Framo and FES GmbH Vehicle Development Saxony are causing a sensation in the industry.
In close cooperation, the new business partners are currently in the process of drastically increasing their production capacities – up to 1,000 electric commercial vehicles you want to send out on the streets every year in the future. “At the same time, production costs are falling sustainably and we can work more conservatively on both sides,” explains Serhat Yilmaz.
At Framo he is responsible for marketing, business development, investor relations and sales in support of the management. “This cooperation is very promising for both companies. We are now creating the production capacities that our customers in Europe demand, ”said Yilmaz.
Joint hydrogen truck in planning
Because electric vehicles show their climate friendliness particularly in the short and medium distances, the logistics industry is still looking for an economical solution for emission-free heavy haulage over long distances. Framo and FES have found this solution – and together they will make it a reality: in future, they want to fill the critical gap in the transport business with a joint hydrogen truck.
“The advantages of hydrogen propulsion are very clear,” says Yilmaz. “With our fuel cell system, we can reduce the weight of the vehicle by at least half a ton. Compared to a pure battery drive, our hydrogen truck has a longer range and, of course, more payload. This makes the vehicle not only more economical, but also significantly more ecological on long journeys. “

The FES GmbH vehicle development axes : An experienced development service from concept to production stage
FES was founded in 1992 and has around 30 years of experience as a partner in vehicle development. For many customers, the company is the benchmark for a strong price-performance ratio. FES offers efficient, timely and cost-effective development services in the automotive sector, with customers receiving full support from the concept to prototype construction to vehicle testing and technical documentation.
