Getech – Collaboration with Shoreham Port Green Energy hub moves forward with extended exclusivity through 2027.
Getech announced further progress on its Shoreham Port Green Energy Hub, with the extension of exclusive rights for the development of all hydrogen, ammonia and new port-based onshore wind and solar generation capacity until August 2027.
In November 2021, Getech announced a two-year exclusivity period with the Port of Shoreham, West Sussex, through a collaboration agreement.
After completing an extensive engineering program demonstrating the commercial feasibility of the Green Energy Hub, Getech’s exclusivity has now been extended by the Port of Shoreham for a period of 5 years, leading the project through development, to the first planned green hydrogen production and beyond.
The Port of Shoreham is hosting its Sustainability Week from September 29 to October 1, 2022, where the Green Energy Hub will be part of the portfolio of projects presented.
