Guofu Hydrogen Energy plans to collaborate with BTE and Hylium to develop and manufacture PEM power modules for hydrogen production via natural gas reforming for data centers
Gronk Holdings announced on December 7 that Guofu Hydrogen Energy (02582.HK) entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with BTE Inc. (“BTE”) and Hylium Industries, Inc. (“Hylium”) (both companies incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Korea) on December 6, 2025, to jointly develop and manufacture hydrogen production via natural gas reforming proton exchange membrane power generation module products. According to the agreement, this product consists of natural gas reforming hydrogen production equipment supplied by the company and fuel cell power generation equipment provided by BTE and will be sold to U.S. data centers through Hylium’s wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States.
Based on market demand driven by electricity shortages in U.S. data centers, combined with BTE’s existing power supply demonstration projects in the U.S., and targeting the goal of securing no less than 1GW of orders within three years, the Board believes that this product holds significant market potential and will contribute to driving the Company’s future revenue growth.
