hy-fcell 2025 really taking off – in partnership with Siemens

New partnership, strong content, top-quality conference: The international hydrogen exhibition is returning to Stuttgart again in October

Hydrogen and fuel cell technology is experiencing dynamic growth – and hy-fcell 2025 is once again setting the standards. From 7 to 8 October 2025, international decision-makers from the worlds of industry, politics and research will be meeting in Stuttgart to present their latest innovative solutions for sustainable change in the energy and mobility sectors. Following strong growth in 2024 – with 189 exhibiting companies (+10%) and more than 3,000 participants from 35 countries – the 2025 event will once again be setting the course, further establishing its role as a leading platform for hydrogen solutions with international reach.

Siemens taking up role as hosting partner: Together for a green future

The event has further strengthened its appeal with the acquisition of Siemens as a new hosting partner.

Explains Robert Atkinson, Lead Hydrogen at Siemens AG, Factory Automation. Guido von Vacano, Executive Vice President at Messe Stuttgart, also emphasised the importance of this partnership:

Hydrogen is key to a climate-neutral industry – and we want to play an active role in shaping this future.

The partnership perfectly represents the close collaboration between industry and event formats – practical, relevant and focused on the future,

The hy-fcell event brings together the right people and the best technology to make this happen.

“With Siemens, we have an innovative partner at our side who promotes this industry – in terms of technology, business and global networking. Together, we are setting a clear signal for the future of the hydrogen economy and our location here in Stuttgart.”

Key topics of 2025: Innovation, Production and European Strength

The hy-fcell 2025 event will explore key industry developments and is organised according to specific themed areas. The spotlight will be on four central topics at hy-fcell 2025:

  • Nationwide networking – the strength of Southwest Germany: Baden-Württemberg as a strong innovative location between mobility, component manufacture and infrastructure.
  • Spotlight on production technology: from single high-precision parts to automated final assembly – technology for the series production of fuel cells and electrolysers.
  • Hydrogen mobility by all transport means: road, rail or air – the practical application of sustainable mobility solutions.
  • All eyes on Europe: hy-fcell instigating change within the single European market and driving the green transformation.

Excellent value for money with top-quality conference

One particular highlight is the accompanying expert conference, taking place directly in the trade fair hall and included in the price of the admission ticket. For only €35 (day ticket) or €60 (two-day ticket), visitors can attend topical presentations, exclusive panel talks and best-practice demonstrations. Günther Oettinger, former EU Commissioner and designated energy expert, has confirmed his attendance as a speaker at the event. The Call for Abstracts has also started –

industry experts are invited to apply now for the opportunity to present their research or applications to an international trade audience.
