A total of 212 buses powered by hydrogen cells will be in service during the 2022 Winter Olympics, according to the Beijing Public Transport Corporation.
To prevent potential risks, 11,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) will be equipped with a real-time monitoring system for data. In-vehicle information covers data on the hydrogen cell system, driving motors and instruments.
The real-time monitoring system that can transfer data within seconds has been completed.
The 212 hydrogen-powered buses will serve the public after the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
