Hydrogen Council Announces Masdar, Siemens Energy and Yara Clean Ammonia as New Board Members
BRUSSELS, December 16, 2024 – The Hydrogen Council is delighted to announce Masdar, Siemens Energy and Yara Clean Ammonia as its newest Board members, further strengthening the global CEO-led organisation’s diverse and influential leadership. The new board composition will be effective as of 1 January 2025.
The Hydrogen Council Board is represented at the highest level by global CEOs committed to providing the necessary leadership to set a powerful vision and accelerate decisive action on hydrogen for the benefit of the energy transition. As the first Board member from the Middle East, Masdar will bring valuable insights on the ambition and investment progress in the region, while Siemens Energy and Yara Clean Ammonia bring expertise in electrolysers and ammonia production respectively.
Jaehoon Chang, CEO of Hyundai and Sanjiv Lamba, CEO of Linde, Co-Chairs of the Hydrogen Council jointly welcomed the newly appointed Board members, stating,

Masdar, Siemens Energy and Yara Clean Ammonia will serve alongside Air Liquide, Anglo American, Cummins Inc., and Toyota Motor Corporation who have been re-elected for another term, as well as Engie, Hyundai Motor Company, Johnson Matthey, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Linde, Sasol, Sinopec, and Topsoe whose mandates are ongoing.
