Hydrogen Expo 2024 To Foster Collaboration For Clean Energy Solutions.
HydrogEn Expo 2024 will bring together over 190 exhibitors at Piacenza Expo in Italy 11-13th September to showcase the latest products and services spanning the entire hydrogen ecosystem from production, through transportation and storage, to its eventual use.
Among the exhibits, visitors will find:
- Hydrogen production technologies: Leading companies will showcase advancements in electrolysis, including state-of-the-art PEM and solid oxide electrolysers, designed to efficiently produce hydrogen from renewable energy sources.
- Storage and transportation solutions: Exhibitors will present innovations in hydrogen storage, including high-pressure tanks and liquid hydrogen technologies, as well as advanced pipeline and transport systems that ensure safe and efficient hydrogen delivery.
- Fuel cells and power generation: Visitors can explore the latest in fuel cell technology, with applications ranging from portable power systems to large-scale power plants. These systems are poised to revolutionise energy supply for industries and communities alike.
- Hydrogen-powered vehicles: The transportation sector will be well-represented, with a focus on hydrogen-powered vehicles, including trucks, buses, trains, maritime vessels and even aircraft, all of which promise to reduce emissions in heavy-duty and long-distance transport.
- Industrial applications: Companies will also demonstrate how hydrogen is being integrated into industrial processes, such as steelmaking and cement or chemical production, to significantly lower carbon emissions in traditionally hard-to-abate sectors.
Beyond the exhibition floor, HydrogEn Expo 2024 will feature a rich program of presentations, workshops, and panel discussions. Industry leaders will share insights and best practices, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Highlights will include the Italian Hydrogen Technology Awards, which will recognise outstanding achievements in the hydrogen sector on Thursday 12th September.
