Hydrogen – Powerhouse Energy inks landmark five-year deal for waste-to-energy tech.
Powerhouse Energy Group PLC (AIM:PHE) has announced a landmark five-year framework agreement with National Hydrogen of Australia to deploy its innovative waste-to-energy technology across Australia, Italy, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.
Under this agreement, Powerhouse will provide its proprietary technology and engineering expertise through its subsidiary Engsolve on an exclusive project-by-project basis.
This will enable the roll-out of multiple hydrogen-based projects, enhancing the global footprint of Powerhouse’s innovative waste-to-energy conversion technology.
Paul Emmitt, CEO, said:
This is a major milestone for us and delivers a significant endorsement for our technology and know-how and provides us with both a platform for growth and a potential long-term income stream.
The agreement specifies that all front-end engineering design (FEED) work for these facilities will be fully funded by National Hydrogen, ensuring a streamlined and well-supported development process.
Additionally, Powerhouse’s involvement will not require any capital contribution. Instead, the financial model is based on licensing fees and royalties, offering Powerhouse a potential long-term income stream.
Paul Emmitt, CEO, said:
“We are excited to leverage our expertise and advanced technologies to optimise these facilities, setting new benchmarks for the hydrogen industry,”
“This is the culmination of several years of work, discussion and negotiation between Richard Allen, chairman of National Hydrogen and me.
“I am very pleased that we have finally concluded today’s agreement and I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with National Hydrogen.
