Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS), a new industrial brick in the Saut du Moine area in Champagnier.
The Isère manufacturer of hydrogen stations HRS, confirms the construction of a new building “which will triple production” on the Saut du Moine area in Champagnier. The foundation stone will be laid on November 25 at a site where LED specialist Aledia has also launched its construction site.
The “Saut du Moine” activity zone, built on the former Poliméri site in Champagnier, south of the Grenoble metropolis, is decidedly a popular place at the end of 2021.
While the company Aledia launched last week its “Display Valley” with the help of ministers,HRS – Hydrogen refueling solutions – which had announced in June that it also wanted to settle here, confirms that Champagnier will host by 2023 its new production and research site, and announces a foundation stone laying on November 25.
A remarkable IPO
Based a few kilometers away, in Champ-sur-Drac, hrs, formerly TSM, designs and manufactures hydrogen refueling stations. It has changed its size since its IPO which allowed it to raise 85 million euros in February 2021.
A performance qualified as”historic”since the Euronext Growth Paris trading platform had never recorded such an entry since its creation in 2005. HRS’s growth prospects are obviously based on the hydrogen plan launched a year ago by the government.
Increased production capacity
The future Champagnier site”with a total area of 14,300 square meters, stressesthe company’s press release, will be the largest in Europe”, with a production capacity of”180 stations per year, triple the current production”. In addition to the workshops, the site will have 4,300 square meters of offices and”will be associated with a test area”.
It represents more than 15 million euros of investment. Its installation in Champagnier is supported and assisted by Grenoble-Alpes-Métropole and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. The new complex”which will be operational at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023, will create more than 150 direct and indirect jobs by 2025″according to HRS, which had 34 employees at the end of 2020.
