Impact Coatings announces changes in management to drive growth in hydrogen and fuel cells.

Impact Coatings is in an expansion phase where they develop their product offerings, how they process the market and their industrial presence – especially in the segments hydrogen, fuel cells and vehicle safety.

During the beginning of 2021, Impact Coating has strengthened the company’s management team with an increased focus on coating services (Coating Services), business development and marketing communication.

As already mentioned in the interim report for the first quarter, Carina Höglund has been appointed VP Coating Services and has been welcomed into the management team during the first quarter.

Carina has a doctorate in thin film physics from Linköping University and started at Impact Coatings as Senior Technology Expert 2019. Carina and her team will continue to develop and expand Impact Coating’s coating services in close collaboration with their customers and their development department.

At the beginning of May 2021, Anette Therén, with a background from the cleantech and innovation sector, joined Impact Coating’s management team as VP Marketing & Communications. Peter Högfeldt, former VP Marketing, has thus moved on to a new role as VP Business Development & Investor Relations with a focus on strategic partnerships and investor relations.

Will Wright, former VP Sales with responsibility for business development in fuel cells and based in Seoul, Korea since the end of 2020, has left Impact Coatings at the end of March 2021 with a view to new challenges. They thank Will for his contribution during the time in the company.

To strengthen their position in Korea, Impact Coatings has hired the consulting firm Intralink, experts in business development in Asia. Intralinks Nils Meesterburrie, based in Seoul, has been appointed Sales Director, Korea and is thus responsible for the Hyundai partnership and continued growth in the Korean market.

Robert Mamazza, with a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida and extensive experience in PVD and thin film coating from, among others, Oerlikon, has from April 2021 been appointed President, North America.

Robert will develop their go-to-market strategy and have commercial responsibility for key customers in the fuel cell and vehicle safety segments in the United States and Canada.

In the next step, to further strengthen the organization, they focus on recruiting a President of the EMEA region based in Germany.
