Ineos Inovyn joins forces with the SME IntHy to develop low-carbon hydrogen mobility in the East.
The “ReadHy to Move” project, the result of a partnership between a Parisian SME (IntHy), which bought the Rougeot Energie group in 2021, the Swiss energy company (Alpiq) and the giant Ineos, aims to develop low hydrogen carbon for heavy mobility in the East of France, strengthening the regional sector and the associated jobs. With this project, Bourgogne Franche-Comté finds itself at the forefront of the development of hydrogen in France.
HyMove and Ineos Inovyn are joining forces in the “ReadHy to Move” project to accelerate the deployment of zero-emission heavy mobility in Bourgogne Franche-Comté. Ineos Inovyn, the European leader in electrolysis, will invest in its Tavaux site (Jura) to build new low-carbon hydrogen purification and compression systems.
A collaboration for low-carbon hydrogen
HyMove will ensure the distribution of the low-carbon hydrogen produced at Tavaux thanks to its hydrogen logistics solution. The distribution stations will serve private goods transport and public passenger transport in the region and neighboring areas.
Decarbonization and regional development
This project supports European and national decarbonization objectives and positions Bourgogne Franche-Comté at the forefront of hydrogen development in France. The project will also contribute to the deployment of the hydrogen sector and associated skills and jobs in the region.
With “ReadHy to Move”, the partners want to be pioneers in the decarbonization of heavy mobility in France. The project is part of the Alpiq Group’s strategy to develop the production and marketing of hydrogen to decarbonize heavy mobility and industry in Europe. The project should be operational in 2026.
