InterContinental Energy, the leading dedicated green hydrogen developer, has announced its recruitment of four new senior hires with skills including specialist engineering, renewable energy and zero-carbon fuels, as well as commercial partnerships and project development. This bench of world-class specialist expertise enables InterContinental Energy to further deliver on its strategy to drive the renewable energy revolution beyond green electricity to green fuels.
InterContinental Energy has a growing portfolio of projects at sites with high levels of combined wind and solar power. These carefully chosen locations allow InterContinental Energy production of renewable fuels, such as green hydrogen and green ammonia, at a scale that becomes cost competitive with fossil fuels.
The sheer size of these sites, such as the 26-gigawatt Asian Renewable Energy Hub, as well as other forthcoming similarly sized or larger projects in the InterContinental Energy portfolio, will help meet increasing global demand from energy intensive sectors under social, environmental and regulatory pressure to decarbonize their businesses.
