ITM Power subsidiary Hydropulse and Eternal Power join forces to fast-track green hydrogen for German industrial customers, starting now
ITM Power’s new subsidiary, Hydropulse GmbH, has today announced a strategic partnership with Eternal Power GmbH to accelerate the deployment of industrial hydrogen projects across Germany.
Hydropulse GmbH, the newly launched green hydrogen venture from ITM Power, today announced a strategic partnership with Eternal Power GmbH, a leading renewable energy developer, to accelerate the deployment of industrial hydrogen projects across Germany.
This collaboration will fast-track project development by combining Hydropulse’s technology access and unique “hydrogen-as-a-service” model with Eternal Power’s on-the-ground development expertise and customer access — unlocking projects that were previously stuck due to complexity, capital cost, high upfront investments or execution delays.
A Simpler, Faster Path to Green Hydrogen for Industry
Hydropulse builds, owns and operates containerised green hydrogen plants tailored to industrial customers, with no upfront investment, no technology risk, and a fully managed long-term supply model. Eternal Power will now help identify, structure and drive projects through key development milestones, including permitting and commercial coordination.
Dennis Schulz, CEO of ITM Power and Managing Director of Hydropulse, said:
With Eternal Power at our side, we can move faster and deliver smarter — getting hydrogen to industrial users who need it today, not years down the line,
“This partnership is about turning potential into reality, and unlocking serious near-term value for customers and shareholders by removing key barriers to hydrogen adoption.”
Moritz Schwencke, CEO of Eternal Power, said:
Hydropulse is building the bridge between electrolyser technology and real-world use,
“Together with ITM Power and its standardised PEM electrolyser systems, we’re ready to speed up on-site deployment and contribute to a faster ramp-up of the hydrogen economy in Germany.”
Focused on Industrial Demand
The partnership will target industrial hydrogen users, where the Hydropulse “hydrogen-as-a-service” model removes traditional capex and investment risk barriers, and Eternal Power’s project development expertise and local know-how ensure that projects move fast.
