Mark Bouris AM Joins United H2 Limited as Non-Executive Director
United H2 Limited (UHL), a leading Australian hydrogen holding company, has appointed Mark Bouris AM as a Non-Executive Director.
Mark Bouris AM is an Australian entrepreneur who has been innovating for years, challenging the business landscape with disruptive models that help Australians succeed.
Best known as the founder of ‘Wizard Home Loans’, Australia’s second-largest non-bank mortgage lender which he sold to General Electric in 2004.
Mark’s leadership in Australian entrepreneurialism makes him the perfect candidate to join United H2 Limited, which forms hydrogen-focused businesses with technical experts and commercialises them.
Currently United H2 Limited is building 14 hydrogen businesses, which cover the whole sector, from production through to end-use.
The appointment also aligns with Mark’s belief that hydrogen presents a strong path to provide a commercially viable avenue to decarbonising the economy.
Mark’s current positions include Executive Chairman of Yellow Brick Road Group and Non-Executive Director of Sydney Roosters Football Club and Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club.
In 2015, Mark was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the finance industry and tertiary education and was Chairman of the Taskforce into Digitisation of Small Businesses for the Australian Treasury.
