Musheko appointed Communications Manager of Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme
The Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme (NGH2P) has appointed Jona Musheko as its new Manager for External Affairs and Communications, effective 03 October.
This appointment is a key part of the programme’s strategy to strengthen its communications efforts as it leads Namibia’s push to become a global green hydrogen hub.
Musheko brings with him nearly a decade of professional experience, having demonstrated exceptional communication skills during his tenure at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform. His distinguished track record includes being named the 2nd Best Public Relations Officer in government – a reflection of his ability to manage public engagement effectively and forge strategic
relationships.
In addition to his practical experience, Musheko holds an Honours Degree in Linguistics Studies: in English, and an Honours Degree in Communication.
He is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Marketing at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), showcasing his ongoing commitment to advancing his professional skills.
As Manager for External Affairs and Communications, Musheko will implement the NGHP’s Stakeholder and Communications Strategy.
His role will involve strengthening the programme’s visibility and acting as the primary liaison between the NGH2P and its local and global stakeholders.
