Ohmium International, Inc., a green hydrogen company that designs, manufactures, and deploys Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzers, continues to make green hydrogen more cost-effective by reducing cost and improving performance through collaboration agreements with leading European Universities and Institutions.
Specifically, the Silicon Valley-based energy company has closed a research collaboration with Politecnico di Torino University (Turin, Italy) to develop a project focused on the next generation catalyst materials for PEM Electrolysis.
Through this agreement, Ohmium will enhance its capabilities for future projects within the European Union, including Spain.
Ohmium has created the idoneous product to convert renewable energy into green hydrogen. Its technology enables customers to achieve their green energy goals in transportation, energy and industrial projects, making their shared vision of sustainability a reality.
In this sense, the company is able to innovate faster than many other electrolyzer companies, as their game-changing design enables smooth and close collaboration with top R&D institutes to rapidly translate innovations into actual production improvements.
This research collaboration with Politecnico di Torino focuses on the synthesis of the new materials that replace or reduce the amount of precious metals in the current generation catalyst materials.
The R&D advances will make green hydrogen production more cost effective and address the concerns arisen in the industry about the availability of these materials in the future. The first results of the collaboration are expected in 1-year.
