“It is to be used for the integrated control of three types of energy sources: pure hydrogen fuel cell generators, photovoltaic generators, and storage batteries, and for solutions that effectively use the heat energy generated during the electricity production utilizing hydrogen. Starting with the installation of a demonstration system that supplies renewable energy for electricity used in its microwave oven assembly factory in the UK, the company will use the name Panasonic HX in marketing and communication activities for its hydrogen business. Today, December 3, 2024, the Panasonic HX website was simultaneously launched in three languages: English, German, and Japanese.
The name Panasonic HX represents Panasonic’s determination to propose a new option for the full-scale use of hydrogen (H), which has a low environmental impact, and to contribute to the transformation (X) to a decarbonized society through collaboration (X) with partner companies, administrations, and business customers.
