Plagazi Announces New Project in Germany to Get with Korn Recycling, for the Production of Fuel Cell Grade Hydrogen.

Plagazi has received an order for a Feasibility Study from the Korn Recycling for the implementation of an on-site HE-2000 plant. Korn possesses one of the world’s most modern commercial waste sorting and replacement fuel processing plant and are pioneers in environmentally friendly disposal and recycling of waste. The aim of the study is to provide Korn Recycling with an understanding of the general feasibility of implementing a circular Plagazi Process plant that fits within their desired framework and meets their sustainability requirements.

Plagazi will investigate how certain fractions of Korn Recycling’s waste can be utilized for the production of fuel cell grade hydrogen in the most financially viable and sustainable way possible. The study will also investigate the potential applications of the hydrogen produced from Korn Recycling’s waste, with the intention to transform their operations and enable a higher level of circularity. If the client finds the implementation of a Plagazi plant feasible after completion of the study, the work will serve as a foundation for the Basic Engineering Study stage, which is a more in-depth study focused on the specifics of the customer’s waste and further project details, including testing, full process details, environmental permission process, and extensive financial analysis.

Once the Feasibility Study and Basic Engineering Study have been completed, the project would then continue into the plant project phase, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), which starts with the plant design via a Pre-Detailed Engineering.
