PlusZero demonstrates ready-to-go green hydrogen generators at Hydrogen Council COP26 event at iconic Edinburgh Castle venue.
Scottish clean power start-up PlusZero has provided zero-emissions power for a high-profile gathering of international hydrogen industry leaders at a COP26 event hosted by the First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon MSP and addressed by the Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise, Ivan McKee MSP.
PlusZero, launched in 2020 by founder David Amos, creates portable, zero-carbon generators that are powered by green hydrogen from renewable electricity generated on the Scottish islands, with the aim of replacing greenhouse gas-emitting diesel generators.
Showcasing its pioneering ready-to-go clean power solution, PlusZero energised a multi-panel display welcoming high-profile delegates to the Hydrogen Council event at the iconic Edinburgh Castle.
David Amos, Founder and Managing Director of PlusZero said:
The Hydrogen Council is a globally-recognised initiative that brings together international leaders in the hydrogen sector – so when PlusZero was asked to showcase our pioneering clean power solution at the event, naturally we jumped at the chance.
“There is a huge amount of momentum behind hydrogen as an accelerator to the global energy transition. PlusZero is making this happen now with our ready-to-go solution to decarbonising the events sector.”
“It is an honour to have been able to demonstrate the clean power potential of Scottish green hydrogen in a live environment at the iconic Edinburgh Castle. We are hugely grateful to the Hydrogen Council and the First Minister, who hosted the event, for getting behind PlusZero’s ambitions to maximise Scotland’s green hydrogen capacity.” Thanks for staying up to date with Hydrogen Central.
