Port of Amsterdam announces temporary hydrogen filling station.
Holthausen Energy Points opened its new hydrogen filling station in the Port of Amsterdam. There it is possible for trucks to refuel 350 bar of hydrogen. This is a temporary location.
The final location, on the Beiraweg, is currently being worked on. This new filling station is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The hydrogen that can soon be refueled there will be produced on location.
Carl Holthausen, Director Holthausen, said:
I am proud that Holthausen Energy Points is the first hydrogen filling station in Amsterdam where hydrogen in large volumes of 40-50 kg can be refueled in one go.
After completion of the hydrogen filling station, hydrogen will also be produced on Beiraweg and will serve as a filling station for cylinders. This would give quick and easy access to hydrogen for the construction generators and hoisting and lifting equipment, such as forklift trucks.
