Pure Hydrogen marks first revenue from vehicle sales with delivery of electric mini-buses to Sapphire Coast Buslines.
Special Report: Pure Hydrogen has successfully delivered two electric mini-buses worth ~$700,000 to Sapphire Coast Buslines in NSW, as it continues to unlock the addressable market for zero-emission solutions for the heavy-vehicle sector.
The compact 7.5m long EV70 Citybus supplied by the company’s 60%-owned subsidiary H-Drive International have a range of 325km.
These vehicles are capable of seating 18 passengers and are designed to be accessible for wheelchair users and passengers with reduced mobility.

Designed for both short and medium distance routes, the buses feature a quick recharge time of just 45 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime and maximising availability for service.
Pure Hydrogen (ASX:PH2) says the buses were delivered within the stated timeline set out in the initial supply deal, with full regulatory clearance in accordance with comprehensive Australian Design Rules.
Delivery of the mini-buses took place on Tuesday, March 26 at Sapphire’s headquarters near Mirabella, southern NSW.
The deal marks the first revenues generated from Pure Hydrogen’s BEV bus range, with cash funds from the sale now received.
Zero emission vehicles strategy continuing
The delivery of the EV buses marks the continued execution of PH2’s strategy to further unlock the addressable market for zero-emission solutions for the heavy-vehicle sector, across both commercial transport and passenger transport industries.
Its pipeline includes the Taurus truck, Australia’s first hydrogen-powered prime mover now in the final stages of ADR testing, and a specially designed waste removal truck which is being developed for leading Australian waste management business JJ’s Waste & Recycling.
The Taurus prime mover is also available for purchase and offers power, acceleration and range of more than 600km, while producing zero emissions.
Refuelling also takes just 15 minutes rather than the hours recharging a large battery would take.
Meanwhile, the hydrogen fuel cell waste removal trucks have power to spare for travelling around, picking up bins at every household and compacting waste compared to battery power.
PH2 also has a binding purchase order from Wilba Transport on behalf of the NSW Government for another E70 mini-bus.
