The development had already become apparent in recent weeks: Quantron AG from Gersthofen near Augsburg has been under provisional insolvency administration since October 29, 2024. A corresponding publication by the Augsburg District Court can already be found in the public registers. This step is intended to protect Quantron’s current assets from adverse changes. Attorney Constantin Graf Salm-Hoogstraeten from the BBL Brockhoff law firm was appointed as provisional insolvency administrator. The lawyer explains in a statement from the law firm: “We first have to get a precise picture of the figures and the situation on site before we can make reliable statements about the chances of continuing the company.” The possibility of organizing pre-financing of the insolvency allowance for the employees is also being examined.
Quantron was criticized
While the law firm still has to examine the background to the current imbalance, the worsening of the situation had been apparent for some time. Frustrated employees had made it public that they had not received a salary for several months. Quantron’s public relations work had also been greatly reduced in recent months.
According to BBL Brockhoff, Quantron is currently managed by Beate Reimann (CFO), Rene Wollmann (CTO) and Denis Muratov (Chairman of the Supervisory Board). The company founder and CEO Andreas Haller says he suffered a heart attack at the IAA Transportation and has been in rehabilitation since then.
