Quantron AG, specialist in sustainable passenger and freight transportation, is proud to announce that Elaine Lei Reichel-Teng, the Director of Strategic Supply & Cooperations, has successfully completed a transformative journey to enhance her leadership abilities by completing the newly established Aurelia Academy program. With her multicultural background and extensive experience in the automotive industry, Elaine qualified to participate in the very first cohort of female leaders to make a significant impact in the male-dominated sector and foster stronger networks among female professionals.
Elaine Lei Reichel-Teng brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at QUANTRON. Having grown up in both Chinese and Austrian cultures, she possesses a unique ability to connect people from diverse backgrounds. Recognizing that cultural mediation extends beyond language translation, Elaine has excelled in building bridges and fostering collaboration throughout her 18-year career in the automotive industry. Prior to joining QUANTRON, Elaine worked at Magna International, a renowned automotive technology company. During her tenure, she held various positions and spearheaded intercultural projects, gaining invaluable insights into the complexities of the automotive sector. Elaine’s most notable achievement was mastering the art of “simultaneous engineering” and successfully managing international complete vehicle development and manufacturing programs.

While many of the program’s participants already hold high-level management positions, the academy aimed to empower and encourage them to be ready for the next career step. With 15 different nationalities, spread over two cohorts, a total of 28 female leaders participated in the first round of sessions of this great initiative.

As a global citizen with Austrian roots, Dr. Angelika Berger-Sodian’s deep understanding of the Chinese mobility ecosystem provides her with a unique perspective.

On the 15th of May, the Aurelia Academy culminated the transformative journey by hosting the final event, marking the conclusion of the first leadership program. The participants gathered to celebrate not only their personal growth but also the collective achievement of embracing new skills and perspectives. With the handover of the certificates, the ceremony underscored the commitment to fostering female leaders equipped with the vision and resilience to navigate tomorrow’s complexities.
