Quantron AG, as platform provider of sustainable battery-electric and hydrogen-electric mobility for trucks and buses, has been in provisional insolvency proceedings since this week. The Augsburg Local Court has appointed lawyer Constantin Graf Salm-Hoogstraeten from the restructuring law firm BBL as provisional insolvency administrator for the company’s assets. Together with his team, he will now analyze the company’s situation.
Salm-Hoogstraeten, says:
We first need to get a precise picture of the figures and the situation on the ground before we can make any reliable statements about the company’s chances of continuing as a going concern,
His team is currently also examining the possibility of organizing pre-financing of insolvency benefits for the employees.
The founder, Andreas Haller, is in rehabilitation following his recent second heart attack in September 2024. The company is currently managed by Beate Reimann, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since early February 2024, Rene Wollmann, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since April 2023, and Denis Muratov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and “Interim CEO”. Muratov is Managing Partner at Fund4SE (Fund For Sustainability & Energy) and has led a variety of development projects for industries such as transportation, telecommunications, FinTech and venture capital over the past three decades.
Business operations will be maintained in the ongoing period and customers and partners will continue to be supported with the greatest possible commitment. QUANTRON was founded in July 2019 as a spin-off of Haller GmbH & Co. KG. and currently employs around 90 people.
