Rampini is the supplier of the zero emission hydrogen buses of the European pilot project Life 3h for the port of civitavecchia, Italy.
We announce that we will be the supplier of zero emission buses of the European project Life 3h (“Hydrogen demonstration in city, port and mountain area to develop integrated hydrogen valleys”). The Port of Civitavecchia will be the destination of our 2 hydrogen-powered 8-metre buses.
Engineer Fabio Magnoni underlined that “Life 3h is an opportunity to make sustainable travel in the areas chosen as Hydrogen Valleys, in order to reduce the impact of mobility on the environment and on everyone’s health. This pilot project could only have taken shape in areas, which have already amply demonstrated their sensitivity towards eco-sustainability.”
“For example, the Port of Civitavecchia – a symbol of the transition to zero-emission maritime mobility – hosted the world’s first LNG ship and the first zero-emission ferry in port. Or the Campo Felice area – which, like its own region, Abruzzo, is a mountain town deeply involved in achieving energy and climate targets.”
