Repsol, Petronor and Bosch will explore potential joint projects in the renewable hydrogen value chain in Spain.
Repsol, Petronor and Bosch have signed an agreement of intent to explore possible joint projects in the renewable hydrogen value chain in Spain. The three companies have identified lines of action in the areas of mobility, industry and residential use.
This initiative is part of Repsol and Petronor’s commitment to achieve zero net emissions by 2050, following the guidelines of the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Hydrogen has great potential in the mobility of the future with a real push to decarbonisation and net zero emissions from tech neutrality. In addition, the possibility of having combustion engines supports the automobile industry and the fleet of vehicles that currently circulate on our roads. Likewise, the mobility of trains, buses and ships has in this model a sustainable and viable development.
It is therefore a further step in promoting hydrogen industry development projects and its commitment to the consolidation of the Basque Hydrogen Corridor.
