Skavsta Signs Letter of Intent with Fortum for eSAF
Skavsta Logistics and Air Freight, owned by the real estate company Arlandastad and Billström Riemer Andersson Bygg, has signed a letter of intent with Fortum. This was announced in a press release.
The partners will explore the possibilities of establishing, for example, hydrogen production, eSAF (electro Sustainable Aviation Fuel) manufacturing, heat recovery, and battery storage at Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
The letter of intent covers a subarea of 100,000 square meters within the western terminal area, which is currently being detailed in planning in cooperation with Nyköping Municipality.
Under the framework of this letter of intent, Fortum is granted access to the area during the ongoing detailed planning process to enable technical, commercial, and regulatory investigations.
