Slovenia, Clean Hydrogen Partnership sign cooperation deal

November 22 (SeeNews) – Slovenia’s ministry of environment, climate and energy said it has signed with the Clean Hydrogen Partnership of the European Commission a cooperation memorandum for clean hydrogen development projects.

Tina Sersen, state secretary at the ministry, said in a press release after signing the memorandum in Brussels on Thursday.

This memorandum not only represents our commitment to the future of hydrogen, but opens the door to significant opportunities for technical assistance,

“With this support, we want to strengthen our capabilities and knowledge exchange for more efficient development and introduction of hydrogen technologies in Slovenia,” she added.

The memorandum brings partnership assistance to Slovenia through cooperation in knowledge transfer, capacity building and project development, financing, upgrading of knowledge, skills and management of financial resources, as well as the exchange of experience with ten other management bodies that signed the memorandums.

It will contribute to the effective implementation of projects such as the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley, and to the achievement of other goals in the field of energy and renewable energy sources, the ministry said.

The Clean Hydrogen Partnership’s main objective is to contribute to EU Green Deal and Hydrogen Strategy through optimised funding of research and innovation activities.
