Solaria closes ‘PPAs’ with Repsol for 330 MW of renewables over 10 years for hydrogen project
Solaria **has closed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) for a total of 330 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic and wind power with **Repsol for a duration of 10 years, both for a hydrogen project , the company informed the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Specifically, the first agreement is for a total of 150 MW of photovoltaic power, while the other involves 180 MW of wind power, in both cases for those 10 years.
The renewables group and the multi-energy company have already signed agreements of this type in the past. In 2018, they finalized two long-term power purchase agreements totaling more than 100 MW for the sale of 100% green energy.
Solaria’s results
This Monday, Solaria presented its results for the first nine months of the year, in which it obtained a net profit of 141.66 million euros, representing an increase of 148% compared to the same period of the previous year, driven by the entry into operation of new plants and the optimization of financial costs.
The renewables group’s gross operating profit (EBITDA) stood at 230.68 million euros at the end of September, representing a 75% increase compared to a year ago.
Thus, as the year draws to a close, Solaria expects to exceed its EBITDA target of 250 million euros, driven by international growth, solar-battery hybridization and the consolidation of its data center business.
During the first nine months of 2025, Solaria’s revenue reached 258.91 million euros, rising 65% compared to the same period in 2024.
