The Spanish Hydrogen Association and TECNIBERIA sign a Collaboration Agreement.

The Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2), in order to generate synergies in the defense of the interests of the energy sector and the projection of companies, has signed a Collaboration Agreement with TECNIBERIA to through its Industry and Energy Commission.

The representatives of both associations, Javier Brey, president of AeH2, and Pablo Bueno, president of TECNIBERIA, have been in charge of signing the agreement in order to collaborate in the field of energy transition.

The decisive point of cohesion between both associations are their common objectives, focused on promoting the technological development of the business fabric, respecting the environmental balance and helping to increase the penetration of the use of renewable hydrogen.

The Spanish Hydrogen Association is the voice of the sector in Spain, representing more than 200 partners from the entire hydrogen value chain. For its part, TECNIBERIA is structured in five committees that represent the activity of the member companies: Civil, Building and Urban Agenda, Industry and Energy, Environment and Technological Services.

Along these lines, AeH2 and TECNIBERIA seek with this agreement to promote the professional development of their companies and collaborate in the areas of the energy transition and the promotion of hydrogen.

And it is that “hydrogen can be transported, stored and distributed, and used as an alternative fuel for transportation (air, naval, land), as an alternative to natural gas, as a raw material, or as an industrial fuel to produce high heat temperature; and, obviously, it can be used to produce electricity again when there is no renewable resource, thus contributing to the management of the electricity system, by starting from a long-term and large-scale energy storage ”, said Javier Brey, president of the AeH2.

For his part, Pablo Bueno, president of TECNIBERIA, has declared that

The signing of this agreement is a recognition, by both associations, of the need to continue collaborating to promote the knowledge and study of Hydrogen as a new energy vector and the opportunities that open up for various industrial sectors and for Engineering to lead the energy change.

This agreement is a boost for joint activities that allow the analysis of topics of special interest to the sector and determines new challenges to be achieved.
