Sunfire Appoints Jens Henneberg As Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Sunfire, a leading global electrolysis company, has appointed Jens Henneberg as new Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective August 1. Henneberg, a distinguished expert in production and supply chain management brings over 20 years of experience in operational excellence from national and international leadership roles. He succeeds Bernhard Zwinz, who has held the COO position at Sunfire since 2020.
Jens Henneberg has managed production sites both domestically and internationally for many years. With his deep technical expertise and leadership skills, the graduate engineer has successfully built and restructured organizations and has an extensive experience in industrialization. Henneberg spent 17 years at Robert Bosch GmbH and its subsidiaries. During several years abroad, he managed production sites in the Czech Republic and China, among others. As a process optimization expert, Henneberg led the global transformation of organizations and production sites in countries such as Japan, Mexico and the USA. Most recently, Henneberg was responsible for global production and supply chain management at a leading provider of energy management solutions.
Together with Nils Aldag (CEO), Christian von Olshausen (CTO) and Frank Posnanski (CFO), Jens Henneberg as COO will further drive the growth and scaling of Sunfire’s electrolysis business.

Jens Henneberg succeeds Bernhard Zwinz, who has guided Sunfire as COO since 2020.
