TFP appoints Rob Musgrove as New Commercial Director.
Technical Fibre Products, a leading manufacturer of advanced nonwovens and electrochemical materials, has announced the appointment of Rob Musgrove as Commercial Director of TFP Ltd and TFP Hydrogen Products and President of TFP Inc.
Rob commences his post in January 2023, bringing with him a wealth of commercial experience in the materials sector in markets including electronics, construction, transport and industrial. He has a strong leadership background, with previous senior roles including Sales Director and Global Key Manager at 3M.

Based in the USA, Rob will oversee the commercial activity across TFP’s sites globally, accelerating growth in sectors including renewable energy and the hydrogen economy, both of strategic importance in TFP’s vision to enable a cleaner, greener future. In the next 5 years the aim is for the majority of TFP’s sales to come from applications that support the global drive to net zero carbon emissions, enabling the energy transition.
TFP is part of the James Cropper advanced materials group, their nonwoven and electrochemical materials provide solutions across a wide range of markets such as aerospace, defence, automotive and construction, as well as in renewable energy, where there is a strong focus on enabling green technologies, such as fuel cells, green hydrogen generation, wind energy and electric vehicles.
In 2021 the company strengthened its offering in the rapidly accelerating Hydrogen sector with the acquisition of TFP Hydrogen Products. TFP Hydrogen produces coated components for PEM water electrolysis which reduce the cost of producing Green Hydrogen, a critical part of the global transition to sustainable energy.
