UNECE – Common Regulatory Arrangement of Products for the Transportation and Handling of Hydrogen and Hydrogen Blends
This common regulatory arrangement (CRA) supports regulatory harmonization for hydrogen transport via trunk pipelines by aligning conformity assessment procedures and standards across borders. Using Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Recommendation L on an International Model for Transnational Regulatory Cooperation Based on Good Regulatory Practice as a template, it aims to develop common regulatory arrangements, analyse existing frameworks, and create guidance and tools to promote safe, efficient and internationally consistent practices. This guidance has been developed in close collaboration with the ECE Energy Division, Hydrogen Task Force.
