Xavier Colson has been appointed Managing Director of Gen-Hy, a French start-up offering innovative solutions for the production of green hydrogen.
To drive and deploy Gen-Hy’s development strategy, he will draw on his experience in implementing a System Excellence approach for all the company’s processes, particularly production.
He joins Bruno Salque, Deputy Managing Director, and will be able to count on a competent and committed team.
Xavier Colson, 56, a graduate of the Ecole Navale and the Ecole des Mécaniciens de la Marine, spent 10 years as a department manager on French Navy ships. He then joined PSA (Stellantis) for 16 years, taking on responsibilities in industrial projects, purchasing, plant management, forecasting and international cooperation with BMW and GM. In 2016, he joined EES Clemessy, a subsidiary of Eiffage Energie Systèmes (EES), as Sales Director for the automotive division.
In 2019, in a bid to engage Eiffage’s automotive entities in promising growth relays, he became involved in the hydrogen ecosystem and worked to bring Gen-Hy and EES together. Since 2022, he has been in charge of EES’s hydrogen business.
