Leader in hydrogen infrastructure GenH2 invited to celebrate world space week october 4-10 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

GenH2, a premier provider of hydrogen infrastructure, announced that the company has been invited to celebrate World Space Week. The daylong event takes place October 10, 2022 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. World Space Week programs are held in more than 100 countries featuring hundreds of education-related activities for teachers and students.

The GenH2 booth located on the bottom floor of Space Shuttle Atlantis® at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will showcase the promise of hydrogen.

Additionally, the company’s Chief Architect James Fesmire will present a program on Space & Sustainability, geared toward both children and adults, in Journey To Mars on October 10 at 2:00 PM, Liquid Hydrogen: The Key to Space Exploration and Sustainable Energy. Fesmire is also a NASA Hall of Fame Inventor and the founder of the NASA Cryogenic Test Lab.

Cody Bateman, Founder and CEO of GenH2, said:

We are thrilled to join Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in emphasizing the importance of bringing space technology to the general public because World Space Week illustrates the many ways that the future is now.

“James’ presentation and the educational materials at our booth will show how and why hydrogen production, liquefaction, storage and dispensing provide a critical piece in alternative energy solutions.”

Many of the patents GenH2 has licensed from NASA are the foundation for the exciting technology that Fesmire will present, including a model hydrogen fuel cell car that is powered by converting water into electricity.

Guests will also be treated to some of the eye-popping features of other chemical elements such as liquid nitrogen, and they will hear about the hydrogen fuel cell that has generated electricity for rockets since the launch of Gemini in the 1960s.

James Fesmire, the company’s Chief Architect said:

I’ve been doing my signature ‘show & tell’ programs in area elementary schools on behalf of NASA for many years.

“Our shared goal is to get students excited about the world’s hydrogen future and demonstrate how liquid hydrogen is the key to advanced clean energy and electricity generation.”
