WaterstofNet welcomes Stefan Van Laer as project manager for the Hydrogen Industry Cluster.

WaterstofNet welcomes a new colleague, Stefan Van Laer. He will be project manager for the Hydrogen Industry Cluster and will focus on following up on the policy and legislation on hydrogen and conducting strategic communication.

Stefan graduated in 2016 as a Master in Law and subsequently followed a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Antwerp.

In 2017 he started a series of internships within Belgian diplomacy, such as at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the United Nations in New York.

In 2020 he joined the Belgian Steel Industry Association where he monitored the European and Belgian climate and energy policy for two years. In 2021, he followed the Postgraduate Climate and Energy at the University of Antwerp.

Stefan Van Laer, said:

As part of my broad interest in climate and energy policy, I came into more and more contact with hydrogen as an energy carrier of the future.

“When I was taught by Adwin about hydrogen and the role of WaterstofNet in 2021, I immediately knew that one day I would like to work for this organization. I am therefore delighted that I will be able to contribute to the hydrogen revolution that awaits us!” according to Stefan. Thanks for staying up to date with Hydrogen Central.

We warmly welcome Stefan to our team!, WaterstofNet said.
