Everfuel decided to restructure the hydrogen station network due to current immature hydrogen mobility market and technology, closing refuelling stations.

Following a strategic review Everfuel has decided to restructure the hydrogen station network due to current immature hydrogen mobility market and technology which in combination with delayed development of hydrogen sources makes current business case challenged. Going forward Everfuel will focus on heavy duty vehicles for future hydrogen station network compliant with alternative fuels infrastructure regulation (AFIR).
This effectively means that Everfuel will decommissioning unprofitable legacy stations. Following stations will not reopen:

Sweden:
- The already secured sites and funding are being evaluated with potential partners in order to find the best possible solution.
Everfuel will continue working to secure further AFIR ready sites, but future heavy-duty station developments remain subject to availability of vehicles, capable station hardware, customer commitments and public financial backing. The Heinenoord station in the Netherlands will remain open and Frankfurt and Wuppertal bus stations in Germany will continue construction.
